ATA 29 / ATA 32 Engineering Support
- Provide senior-level technical support for hydraulic power generation, distribution, and control systems (pumps, actuators, reservoirs, valves, accumulators).
- Support landing gear, braking, steering, and extension/retraction systems.
- Analyze system schematics, functional diagrams, and installation drawings.
- Support failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
In-Service & Operational Support
- Resolve in-service issues, AOG events, and recurring defects related to hydraulics and landing gear.
- Provide engineering dispositions and repair solutions for line and base maintenance.
- Support troubleshooting using AMM, TSM, WDM, and FIM documentation.
Continued Airworthiness & Change Management
- Assess and support Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and modifications affecting ATA 29 and ATA 32.
- Support development and review of repairs, deviations, and concessions.
- Ensure compliance with EASA / FAA continued airworthiness requirements.
Technical Documentation & Reviews
- Review and support updates to AMM, IPC, SRM, and troubleshooting manuals.
- Support MSG-3 and maintenance program inputs related to hydraulic and landing gear systems.
- Participate in design reviews and technical boards as a subject-matter expert.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Structures, Avionics, Loads, Stress, Tech Pubs, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
- Interface with suppliers, OEMs, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
